Explanation
Tally marks are usually used for counting or tallying ongoing results, such as a score. A vertical line is used in print for each mark. Marks are grouped by fives. In print, one vertical line is made for each of the first four numbers and the fifth mark is represented by a diagonal line drawn across the previous four.
In UEB, the tally mark is represented by the vertical line segment, dots four five six. The groups of five may be grouped by five marks followed by a space or four marks followed by a horizontal mark and a space. The horizontal mark is dots two five.
